Hi all

Sorry if this has already been covered!

Couple of days ago, i had the light on my dashboard to tell me a light isnt working! So i changed the bulb and still nothing! No rust on the connectors and connectors are connecting properly!
This is only the middle light on the drivers side between the other light/brake light and indicator that isnt working!

Any ideas?

Also the rear wiper stopped working a few days ago also, it then started working again whenever it felt like it, now its not working again....could this be the motor?
Or would you suggest just rewiring the wires in the tailgate?

Thanks in advance

Check recent posts there was someone else with this. It should be the wires under the rubber boot thing at the top of the hatchback where the hinges connect

I had problems with the rear wiper and all the wiring that goes into the tail was damaged, I had to cut the rubber connector and remove the cloth tape to see it as nothing was visible from the outside.

I had a problem with my rear lights a few weeks ago where all my left hand indicators stayed on and none of my brake lights would work on the passenger side, turned out to be a burnt earth wire somehow, so we bypassed it, I'm not sure if this is linked to the back wiper also as I de wipered mine a while back

This is what mine done if that's any help

Hi all, thanks for your replies

Dgpunto iv just had a read of that now! Il have a look into that, thank you

Aleson i dont know if its the motor or wiring, im forever flicking the switch on the stalk for the rear wiper so i might of just burnt it out....thats what im hoping for atleast

Ckem247 i had this problem a while back, drove me bleeding mental, turned out on mine, the connectors wernt connecting properly with the bulb holder and lights were doing whatever they wanted!

Just seems weird that its only the one light and the rest are fine, this is why i assumed it was just the bulb but....

Thanks for your replies guys, il have a look into it

Yeah iv got the right one! Although i am gonna check everything today and see what the deal is! Il let you know this afternoon what i find

Just a quick update

Turns out dozy arse here got the wrong bulb, i picked up a 209 from halfords thinking it was a 207s, but on the bright side, all lights are fine again

On the wiper side of things! Its now working again! But...
Seems to stop working when i open the tailgate, but then sometimes comes back on again when i slam it!

Clearly there is no split wire otherwise it wouldnt work atall! Would you just call it a motor on its way out or maybe something else?
