General Rear Door wont unlock

has any one any idea how to unlock rear door on My Ulysee 2.0 EL MPV from the inside, Both front and back sliding doors unopen, but the rear hatch stays locked, I have tried ne batteries in Keyfob, and using key to unlock front, but no Joy, no sounds come from back ( no clunks or vering ).
Also the key will not open the door either
any IDeas

Probably faulty lock.

You need to remove rear cover from inside (4 x T20 torx screws) & flick the catch.

I have the same problem I cannot unlock my back door. However my problem seems to be with the remote key. It will also not lock or unlock any of the doors remotely. I can use the key on the front two doors (or lock and unlock them from the inside) and can lock and unlock the side doors from the inside. But of course there is no manual lock for the rear door so cannot open it.

IfI open the back door (as detailed in the thread I am worried that I will not be able to lock it again.

Can anyone help?

do it as I mentioned in above thread,you will see a small hole on the lock just push a small screwdriver into it & it will open the tailgate......to close it simply shut it again Trust me done at least 15 of these locks.

I have just followed these instructions to release the rear door, but when I close it again , I have to use the screwdriver again to release as the appears to be broken.


Where's the best place to get a replacement lock ?
