Best bet is to take a few pictures of the set-up before you dismantle anything, then take a few as you go along.
Make note particularly of the adjuster ends, which way round they go, and how they sit against the shoes and the Handbrake lever.
You'll possibly find one (or both) of the spring plates are broken, seems to be common.
I had to repair one of mine with a piece of Feeler Gauge strip, but you can buy them of course . . .
