General Rear air vent

Hello

The rear air vent (between front two seats) doesn't blow much air out when its fully opened. Its like the front vents used to be before I changed the pollen filter. Could something be blocked in the vent somewhere? I changed the pollen filter about 2/3 weeks ago.

AFAIR it just channels some of the warm air down the centre console (past the gear lever and handbrake). Can't imagine what would block it, but you could take a few things off (gear lever and handbrake gaitors for a start) to check if there's anything in there that could be blocking the flow...dead mouse, stash of fivers etc.

Thanks for your reply Yellow Peril, thats ok then because I can feel some air coming out but I thought it worked like the front vents do. I don't think I'll take things off...........but maybe I should.........stash of fivers, would be nice!

don't forget that the further away from the fan the slower the air will be moving. try it with the front vents open, then close them and see if you get more aire out the rear one.
