Realistic MPG?

I'm considering buying a 500 Abarth. I've read the propaganda about the MPG, but I'd like to know what real owners/drivers are getting.

In short, what MPG can one realistically expect from their 500 Abarth?

Hi mate

Well with the abarth grande i have with the same engine, which has a slightly more torque and bhp i get around 40mpg consistantly. With yours being lighter then you should see similar numbers.

Just depends on the roads you drive on most i guess, and wether you drive enthusiasticly ha. But id say drive sensible and youll be around 40.

(P.s get it remapped! It will fly! )

Note that the above is in imperial rather than US gallons. Have a look at Fuelly, plenty of people use it to record their MPG and should give a good real world reflection.
