Can the clutch off of a 147 8v JTD not be used on the fiats?

There must be an ulternative somewhere.?

It was in regards to the JTD remap from angel tuning. ppl hav sed on the 170bhp remap the clutch slips.. and was there no upgraded clutch to solve the problem.

I doubt anybody would know if a 147 clutch will or won't fit a bravo without actually trying it. What makes you think that the 147 clutch could take the 170bhp remap's torque better than the bravo's can? For the clutch to take more torque it needs more surface area and if the 147 clutch is bigger it won't fit. I think the best bet would be to shop around for a uprated clutch made for the car. Nobody in the UK probably stocks one so look further a field like German, Holland or something.

No-one at all makes an uprated clutch for any of the bravos.

You need more spring pressure to cope with more torque.

i didnt ask the first question.. i just saw it in a previous post and wanted to know the answer...
