Rattles!!!

Hi Every one!

Lately iv noticed that when the heating / fan is on in the car i can hear rattling out of the front two vents! sounds like a moth has got up there and is going spastic when ever u turn the fans on.

Anyone got any idea what it might be?

Probably a tree leaf or something similar that's got sucked in. If it is, it's a case of waiting till it dries out enough and breaks up and then you get a face full of bits !

It could be something else, but unless you can see it, you will probably never know without dismantling the vents.

Do you know how to dismantle the vents? It really is quite annoying! lol

Iv seen the centre dash removal guide but i dont know if im gonna be able to access where the fans are from doing that?

Make sure the sound isn't coming from below the glovebox, as this is where the fan is located. I had leaves making a right racket inside, so accessed the fan by unscrewing the removable panel on the wiper scuttle. A very easy job.

From there I just reached in and took the leaves out.
