Technical Rats ate my fuel line? :P

My cabby wants some attention lately, had a smell of fuel for a few days and found this pipe leaking:

Is that the fuel return pipe?

Found this behind the pipe:

Is that fixable? I have no idea how did it come to this.
Anyways changed that fuel pipe and no more leaks. However, I don't want to play with a fuel problem.

Looks like a fuel return, but can't be 100% from the photos.

As long as there's now a good clip on it and no leaks with the engine running, you should be OK until the rats return.

looks more like it failed due to old age to me
if you get rats they prefer to eat wires for some reason

Found out today that my water pipe that is going to the heater matrix is going to blow:

I canceled the heater because I don't want my ECU to get wet if it leaks in the future.

I connected a short pipe straight from the thermostat to the manifold.
Glad I found that in time.
I guess I need to refresh all those pipes due their age.
