Shaun thinks it cud be my ijectors, reading posts on ere ppl are sayion its the maf..
Thing is,my rocker cover has gone,i have oil on spark plugs (replacin the gasket next week),cud it be down to that do ya's think? wiv the plugs havin oil on them?

**Touch wood**,itll still be off tomorrow lol :)

My car has been good to me up untill yesterday afternoon :( lol
On way back home still with injector light on,it came to a hault and stalled...on a roundabout lol
Anyideas any1? Could it be down to my Plugs with them having oil on them (not replaced Rocker Cover yet).Cant see it bein Lambda Sensor as its only 12 month old,and wen i got it checked,it was fine.Injectors seem ok as it still goes well, even with light on.Im thinking the MAF but just after a second oppinion :)

She's a monster soon to be revealed :)

If they didnt want it stripping they shouldnt have used nuts and bolts :)

Your best bet is to get it diagnose so you atleast know whats throwing up the error. Its all well sayings its the injectors when it could be something like fueling which would affect the injectors.

A local car electrician near me will read fault codes for £20.

Yer think im gona have to tbh,it £20 our end.I went to kiwik fit last time as they are free but they didnt have the 6 piin connector so couldnt test it,they could only test the Lambda Sensor, which seemed to be doin its job.

I thought all pre2000 Fiat Bravos had 2-3 pin diagnostic sockets? To diagnose your injection system your diagnostic port is inside the engine bay, the top right corner you'll see a black box with fuses underneath it, connected to the cover should be 3 diagnostic plugs. The one closest to the wing is the one for the injection system. Connect up to that.

It has mate yer,its got a 3 pin plug.and yer thats where the guy found the plug under that fuse box cover, but im not sure about 3 plugs bein there :s
The guy who tested it said they only have a 6 pin connector cable and was unable to test it or something,he then told me i needed a 3-6 pin connector? :s
Ill go have a nosey now see whats under there lol

To make text bold in posts use < b > (without spaces) at the beginning of text to be made bold and ending it with < /b > (without spaces).

I.e < b > BOLD < /b >

If Im right the one that goes no where is a diagnostic plug for the ABS. Usually its just connected to a socket that is on the plastic cap that goes on the fuses.

yer the 1 at the bottom just hangin, was just plugged in a cap connected to the fuse cover. So thats the abs one then..

mikey_sig2.jpg

If it was plugged in the cap - its for ABS diagnostic.

And the wire - connect it and insulate, you could otherwise get a ABS error(light)

I havnt got any light coming on apart from ECU light and 'Stop lights' when i break.

ECU can be lots of thing - diag is needed
Brake light = one or both of the brake bulbs are faulty. Can happen even if the bulbs actually work, just change them.

ah right cheers mate.Didnt think of changing them due to all 3 of my lights working.Ill get some in a bit see if still happens..
Oh i thought it were down to my pads bein low?is there a seperate light on the dash for that?

mikey_sig2.jpg

The connectors aren't under the fusebox but connected to the lid. However i remembered your cars engine has been removed and replaced, therefore what would of been fitted on say a 1.4 wont necessarily be there for a 2.0. Hmmm. As Sven pointed out thats your ABS diagnostic plug i think. Seems the other connectors are missing. I'll need to do some further research and see if you can trace the wires back to the connector. They may well be tucked behind the battery and ABS unit.
