Random Key Light

Got a call from the g/f yesterday saying she had started my car and there was a light on that wouldn't go out. I got her to bring the car to work where i found it was the key light, suspecting it was something to do with the immobiliser i get her to leave the bravo with me and she took the other car. When i came to go home car started fine and no light.

Anyoneany ideas? I haven't looked up the actual meaning of the light, but it isn't on now so i'm not too worried!

I think it idicates alot of things, but the one i know of is the battery...

I always get it if i turn the engine off then straight back on...

hmmm. it had a new battery when i got it early 2002 so i would hope it's not that, it also mostly does long runs (>40 mins) so it should have time to charge after starting. I will keep it in mind thanks!
