General RALLYING UNO STYLEEEEEE!!!

who says uno 1.0.ie aint no good for rallying......huh pish i did 100miles on saturday night in 2hours flying round the derbyshre dales the places i went through included crich, fritchly, alport, belper, ashbourne, oakathorpe, noth wingfield (however its spelt) and whats just a short list of where we went! and i was flying in respect of a 1.0 anywayz! oh and nearly hit a fox at 60MPH down a country road with a rather large wall that i swevered at then realised it was either the wall or the fox so i went for the fox but missed! neadless to say i was having kittens at that point!

so the lesson here my children is that dont let the UT people bully u into thinking that only UT's are good for rallying its just as much fun in a uno start let me tell u!

used to own a FIRE 1.0 Mk II Uno. I used this to go road rallying for a while, often people would ask me at the end which turbo it was (i.e. 1.3 ir 1.4). One guy in a 1.6 Corsa 16v SXi was rather embaressed when i told him it was only a 1 litre car, as i had been keeping with him for much of the night.
It's not what you drive, it's how committed you are when you drive it

ok oh professional one well i dint manage to keep up wit the guy i was with but the only reason he beet me was on the straights as he has a fiesta 1.6si and he has done abit of tuning so its faster than a standard one but i was going round the corners just as fast but he had me on the str8s easy!

What can i do to make my 1100 a bit faster? i have got a Simota induction kit installed to sort the air intake, a set of decent plugs to fire and a decent free-flow that deals with the unwanted gas. It was just rebored 1 oversized.
