Rally with a lot about Fiats

Mrs R got back from getting her hair done and bought the paper in. The motoring is a bit of a Fiat benifit with this article tht some of you may like to read, plus a good review of the 500 Arbarth. I noticed that the paper used the Cinquichento name for the new 500 a lot, wonder if this is Fiat policy?

ahhh so thats what that was, last weekend i was coming back from my brothers when about 7 or 8 of these little things passed me as i waited at a mini roundabout

Yes, and seicento etc.. However when the rebodied ,and repriced, Nuova Panda based 500 was launched "chinqui" was never mentioned it was refered to as the 500 prolly to distance it from the old Chinqui which was a real Fiat IMHO, a great little cheap to buy and run car for the masses that gave you more for the money than you had any right to expect. Nothing wrong with the Panda either, LJK Setwright voted for it when it got it's COTY award and who am I to argue. The 500 is marketing toure de force and anyone who loves cars wants to see Fiat in good health, it was just something that jarred with such an image driven car referencing the old 50s car sometimes called the "Bambino".

yeah i agree, use of the word cinquecento is inappropriate in the report.
