rainbows .... in!

hey so i finally got time to put in my rainbow componants and they sound great! thanks for all the advice i got buyin them

however they are just running off the headunit at the moment ... what will amping them do to the sound? make them able to go louder without distorting? and also my long term plan (when i get money) is to amp them in the front and get a sub in the boot and disconnect my back speakers .... should i get a seperate amp for sub and speakers? or can i get one that will do both jobs?

one amp can do both.eg a 4 channel with 2 channels doing the front and the other two channels bridged for the sub.
amp provides a more powerful ,cleaner signal for the speakers.just compare the size of an amp to a headunit. compromises have to be made in a headunit with size restrictions

well im gonna leave it for a while i think .... iv only got 60 quid to my name at the moment and id rather save a little and get something a bit better rather than rush to get them amped and get something cheap

You do right mate. Chaos recently (have you got that thing yet?) got a corker for £110-ish that would easily do the job for you.
