radio wire help needed

ok I know this prob sounds stupid to all you Ice experts but I want to swop my power and acc wires at the back of my stereo. I know which ones they are but the wires have a metal clip on the end and go into a plastic housing/cover and I cant get the wires/clip out of the plastic thing in order to swop them. Can anyone enlighten me???

You need to cut them and use bullet or spade connectors to join them together, then make sure you cover them with insulation tape...

I've got a JVC, and the plugs on the fiat plug straight into the set.
I had the same problem and the way I did it was to cut the orange/grey stripe wire, tape the CAR side off and join the length from the plug, which is the second along from the black earth wire, to the red wire next to the black wire on the opposite row. THEN I read the instructions and they said "Move the 10amp fuse on the rear of the set into the next clip"!!!!!!!!!
