Radio Surround

Hi

I just bought a radio surround from halfords for my brava to fit an after market hu, and it doesn't fit at all well I tried to clip the top in then push it from the bottom but it doesn't seem to want to stay in???

Is there a knack to this? can anyone help at all.

A lot of people made that mistake. Sorry mate but to tell you the truth, the h.u adaptor from halfords is badly made and doesnt fit all that well. If i was you i would get the beeter ones of www.autoaudioaccessories.co.uk I got one fitted lately

My missus thought she was doing me a favour by buying me the Halfords adapter but to be honest it does'nt fit too bad at all,the finish does look a little cheap but it's certainly not worth chucking.

Take it back to halfords and show them! Then demand they remove it and fit one that fits! I did then i broke the bastard removing my old HU lol

Ok I have just taken ut back to halfords but the ******s wouldn't give me a refund so I have now got 3 cans of back to black instead...ha ha

Ok I have ordered the one from audioaccerories,which has a fake brava stereo thing,but it looks very similar to the halfords one will this be a better do you think? also does anyone know where I can get a single din cage for my sony hu?

A cage should have come with the HU?

Anyways, I've found the part from FIAT for the stereo surround to be the best fitting one (try an Autoleads one before that).

I'd like to know more about the 'fake' standard HU look front though??

The Halfords one is an autoleads....shite...when I took it back to Halfords I said it doesn't fit and she said I know..

The hu didn't come with a cage as I bought it off ebay

Any idea's?
