Radio code

When i bought my car (from a car auction) i never received the '2 cards'. Is the radio code contained on these 'cards' as i'm away to fit a CD but if i decide to refit my stereo later it will be useless as i wont have the code. Am i screwed, is there any other way to get the radio code? Have just wrote to the previous owner in the vain hope they may still have at least one of them.

You will be able to get the radio caode from Fiat if you need it.

Yes and they will charge me a small fortune i bet.

Two chances - they either will or they wont!

I have heard in some cases they have done it for free. Have a look in yor yellow pages for auto/audio electrical places. THey can usually get codes too for you at around £10/15.

Try fiat 1st tho just to at least get a price

try the dealer that supplied the car new.
i did, £15 and ten minutes later i had the code. they may ask for a scan of your V5 for proof of ownership.
