Radio code

Has any of you tecchies decoded your own radio? I took my battery out to change the thermostat and now the radio needs the code (I don't have).

I know plenty about electronics so took out the EEPROM and read the contents but can't work out the code easily from here. Any tips?

if it was as easy as reading the eeprom code it wouldnt be a very good security measure! Undoubtedly the code will be coded. You need to ask your fiat dealer to get the code for you, i think it takes about 3 days and they charge a tenner or something.

Not done it myself.
