Do a search in Doblo forum "replacing radio" ,plenty useful stuff from Niall with a step by step and a cut it and bodge it from someone else...
Can't even get my bloody stereo to work cos the previous owner had left it needing to be coded,got the numbers but it just says "wait",tried leaving it overnight as per dealers advice and it just goes off
Thinking of a USB stereo upgrade anyway,like the idea of SD as well but this only seems to be available on less "prestigious" brands,yer Sonys and Pioneers only seem to have USB and I use SD a lot on my Eeepc.
Anyone got any recommendations,experience?

Mine's a halford's own brand radio/CD, cost about £70 mid 2007, every now and then they get similar ones in Aldi/Lidl for around £50. It's got remote control, earphone socket, USB port as well as SD card port.
I can crank up the volume quite loud (loud enough to hear as I'm hurtling along the motorway) without any distortion (and that's standard dobbin speakers).
Because it's a cheapo unit, it doesn't attract the chavs (I imagine).
Certainly been happy with the performance.
You hear stories of items being made by one or two companies then rebadged for the cheaper market (Karcher pressure washers in Lidl and Aldi under a different name & considerably cheaper being just one example) and one wonders just how many brands this applies to?

Which JVC unit did you go for?
The standard Blaupunkt CD in my '08 Cargo is not impressive - too unstable - causing CD to "lock up" and withhold (or indeed play) the disc inside. Frustrating
.top spec kenwood fits in mine a treat and with a parrot bluetooth handsfree kit and associated wiring too
As I read that, I wondered why you'd want one in your car...
