Radio beeps every second, what is it and whys it beeping

All the time? Or only when the ignition is on?
When stationnary? Or while driving?
Right away, or after some time, or at a certain speed?

Does the radio work normally besides the bipping?

All the time, yes radio works just beeps, cant stand it have turn it off

beep, music off then on, beep, music off then on, repeat, its un usable

Ive been told it needs diagbox to program it to the van, it must have another vans vin number programmed in it.

Could be. Connecting the van to the appropriate program could tell you the problem.

No idea if the Scudo should be read with MultiEcuScan or a Peugeot / Citroen program though.

I remember a smart car doing this in the showroom before it was PDI'd , the dealer put the battery on to show me a certain feature on a brand new car that had just landed.
