Not wishing to sound rude but you obviously don't have the haynes manual and I would NOT recomend you try and drain the cooling system without reading it first.

If you get an airlock in the system you risk writing off your engine.

so if there is no drain bolt on the radiator, does any one know how you drain the system??

Re: Re: radiators!

I tried to do it this morning but its more hassle than its worth. But if you wana know how to do it try and follow with what im saying.

firstly start by popping the bonnet.
On the left hand side of the radiator facing in twards the engine is a small cream colored plastic screw which you undo, some water will come out of it but thats not the main drainage point.
Next you need to screw the metal ring clip round a rubber tube. this is located at the right hand side of the radiator on the bottom of the plastic bottle thing that you put the water into to fill it up again. The haynes manual shows a man using a screw driver to undo this metal ring clip... but oh no, fiat for some reason dont use re-usable ones. therefore you must unlock the clip to drain it and buy a new one to refit it. Thats the reason y i didnt bother doing it. Then again you may be lucky and have a metal ring clip which can be undone much easier.

But anyway thats how its done. sorry its a bit long winded but its not easy to explain with out pictures. Hope you understand.
