Hi Guys, my sons radiator is leaking through a seam and i am contemplating renewing it (i have found some on Fleabay for about GBP 40 and carparts4less at GBP 55) - has anyone removed and replaced one of these - is it relatively straightforward without having to remove the grill etc (non a/c car) ?

The bumper is easy to remove anyway if needed:

these might be off assistance

this is for the evo so no need to remove the indicators

oh and get some jublie clips to suit unless you have some click r type pliers (wood working pincers can help remove the oem clips)

Ok did the job last Friday - the most difficult part was the bumper removal as a couple of the bolts are quite difficult to reach - after that is removed it is all fairly logical - you have to remove the moulding which the horn is secured to which is another 5 torx screws and then the radiator will lift up out of the securing lugs at the bottom and can then be dropped down and out. The fan then simlpy lifts off and can be mounted on the new radiator which i got from Carrparts4less for GBP 55.
