I'm looking for advice on how to release the pictured top and bottom hose connectors, please.
I'm presuming that I squeeze in on the tabs to expand the clip inside but am just wondering if anything needs to be done first with the tab where the clip joins/overlaps (2nd. picture) like say releasing/opening it first to expand the clip?
Thanks very much in advance.

When fitting the plastic elbow to the radiator, it just pushes on.

To remove the old elbow from the radiator you should only have to squeeze the opposing raised sides and pull it off, however they are known to stick. Twisting the elbow back and forth while squeezing the raised sides of the clip usually helps.

Thanks very much, that sounds reassuring, hopefully they'll release OK. I have to change the radiator on my 2014 X290 and am pretty happy with everything else but these connectors were concerning me.
