Over the weekend I fitted a new temperature sender to our 2.2 Hdi - but couldn't find a way to drain the thing. I eventually disconnected the bottom hose from the radiator - bit of a sudden way to get the coolant out!
The drain valve on the radiator seems to have no means of opening. There's a small pipe coming off it as you'd expect but no "key" to turn. I'm baffled!
