Race Harness 3point where to put the lap belt points?

i have a seicento and i have the bucket seats from makro, i have 2" boxsection below the seats which are bolted to the floor, could i just drill some holes in top of the boxsection and attach the lap part of the belt through these holes using the EYE screws i got with it or does it have to be bolted into the floor of the car for MOT sakes?

any help/advise would be great cheers

Attach one to the front seat belt lower point on the B pillar by the base of the drivers door, use the eye bolt in both cases.

Attach the other to the seat subframe - this must be bolted so that the belt is parallel to the side of the seat.

Both mounted to the seat subframe wont pass the MOT - I know this, as mine didnt...

cheers for that info matey, but what do you mean parallel to the side of the seat?

as in same position as the bpillar one? or as in so its level with the back of the seat?
