I have just taken over driving of my wife's faithful 2020 Qubo 1.3jtd Lounge (80ps), (after 5 years+ of being a passenger!)
My own lovely old Doblo (2009, 1.9jtd 120), will now be sold.
What I did immediately to the Qubo was remove the footrest panel to the left of the clutch pedal. - this meant I was no longer catching my size 11 hooves between the rest and pedals.
I find the throttle pedal very heavy, compared with the Doblo. - is this normal, or is it a fault?
Also, the power delivery is quite unlike the linear engine of the Dobbie - very slow on the uptake, until you reach around 2,500rpm, then the turbo fires in, and away it goes.
Missus doesn't change to 5th until she gets up to 50mph on the flat, and looks on it as an 'overdrive' gear - quite unlike the Doblo!
And the turning circle, for such a small car, is rather poor - it's on 16inch wheels, rather than 15s. - I wonder if that has any effect?
It's a nice car, comfortable, economical and roomy, and I'll doubtless get used to it, but - quirky!
Any thoughts from other owners?

My opinion for what it's worth and not owning a Qubo as prefer more space, I have had many Fiat Doblos and the 1.9 JTD was the best, plenty of pulling power so no need to go up and down the gearbox, I am now own 1.6 MJ Doblos which are acceptable with the six speed gearbox, I also had a 2014 Vauxhall Combo 1.3MJ (Doblo clone) and daughters have had Grande Puntos with the 1.3MJ, the later 1.3MJs were better, but I still felt they were a small engine working hard, OK in a van around town, but if you were looking at motorway speeds then a six speed would have been good.
Also if the 1.3MJs were pottered around town then DPF and EGR issues were just around the corner, so I tend to use DPF fuel additive as a precaution. My 2010 1.6MJ just escaped the DPF requirement.
I accept the later 1.3s are an improvement but personally I prefer bigger lazy diesels, 2.8 Iveco Daily's and Fiat Ducato 2.8s, even the 2.0 litre Fiat Scudo with the six speed gearbox doing 60mph at 2000rpm so not working hard and more able to do higher mileages.:)
