Quick response please

opinions on 8" sub,
i've only got a small amp,
i can get a 8" spl sub
or a 12" jl sub
What to do.

quick response would be nice as i am going to pick up the 8" one in half hour

I've heard that the SPL stuff is pretty poor...

You can get 10" JBL's aswell if that helps...

don't know the model number, i'm not buying them new.
The 8 is a SPL
The 12 is a JL
but i don't think my amp would be any good with a 12"

I'm not gonna be able to find out the model numbers,
i'm getting them out of the trade it (a bristol paper)

My amp is a alpine, bought last year, the smallest one you can get i think. i belive it puts out a measly 50w!

OK forget the SPL one then. If its a JL 12W0 then yes it will work.

JL make a whole range of speakers.

I bought the 8" one and i'm impressed, think my amp was designed more for a sud than 6 by 9, when i took the amp of them, if anything they were better.

the 8" sub sounds very good at the mo, the mdf parcel self must be helping.

it's got dials on this sub, didn't know it would have them but it was a nice brucie bonus.

but the sneaky buggers tried to follow me home so they could pinch it and sell it again.
