My missus is away to get a set of 15" alloys for her Ford ka this week!

Will the tyre pressures on them be the same as the 13" steelies she has on just now?

When i had the 16s on my old punto the garage said it would be the same due to the weight of the car, but im unsure but other people have said it would be different.

:?

The pressures on the side of a tyre is the maximum it can safely take.....if you're running on that pressure you'll find it wears quicker and is a slightly harsher ride. Just stick to the reccomended as standard or for a safe bet go 30/32psi.

I'd say increase the pressure above what the standard alloys/wheels are...particularly if the new alloys are wider than the standard ones.
