quick question

after my car was kinda getting fix my mechanic came round to fix my car but he couldn't get the hub nut off so he had to take it to his garage. but when taking the whole thing off he couldn't find the end of the abs sensor so he cut the wires for it and he said he will solider them back 2gether,"don't worry i have done it before" he said "it will work" yes but will it work??? anyone help

Was this the rear hub nut per chance. Its torqued on to an immense lb ft - far greater than a standard torque wrench and the are a bastard to get off - I know as I have a done a few with the torque wrench and a scaffold tube


You ABS will work, its only an electrical connection, so if the connection is good it will work.
