quick q, abarth kit + 17s

with abarth kit, ive got 15s & -40mm and im wanting to fill the archers, are 17s the only way to go? ive a 1.4 and was wondering if the 17s will decrease the already limited acceleration.

on my 1.2 i've gone from 15's, to 15's lowered then to 17's lowered, and i haven't seen any noticeable difference with acceleration!

some people have said they noticed it, but i haven't

the only thing i would say is that the ride quality lowered 40mm on 15's was so **** it was shocking!

with my 17's on now i feel the drive and the ride have improved!
(the only way i can describe it would be that the car felt too heavy and i didn't like the way the car bounced along the motorway, but that doesn't happen now, my car just feels like it grips the road better)

ok you feel the bumps a bit more than you would but most of that is the lowered suspension.
