Hi All

Do any of you take your seats out and use it as a van. I do, I use mine for my gardening business. I can quite happily fit all my equipment in, Lawn mower, hedgecutter, chainsaw, hand tools etc.

I use a fantastic product called a Safebag. It is basically a box shaped liner made out of very heavy duty nylon. It fills the back of the Qubo nicely and goes up to the headrests when loaded with garden rubbish. I can fit 10 large garden sacks in it, five if carrying my equipment at the same time. Best of all at the end of the day its easy to remove and fold away and no evidence of my work, turning the Qubo back into a Clean family car.:D

Yeah very good made me chuckle. Wouldn't be worth my time to enter the temple of doom and collect their money. They can keep it!

Yeah I will try to do this, me feels this will be a bit of a billy no mates section, I will probably be the first and only one.

Hi Dobbin

I purchased my Safebags from www.roofbox.co.uk. There are two versions to fit the Qubo a short, which covers the boot area, and a long to cover the back area up to the top of the seat level.

I also purchased one to fit a Doblo as this goes right to the roof.

The base of the safebag has heavy duty velcro, so to avoid carpet furring I put a cheapie tarpaulin underneath. I attach the bag to the front headrests and the rear seat metal clips (with seats out or folded and tumbled. Be careful removing and re attaching seats as a)they heavy, b)they can be a pain to reattach without tearing the seat fabric on the re-attachment points.

I hope this is of help.

Hi,

Yes, this was one of reasons for buying. It certainly makes loading easier, and adds 47kg to max payload. Also helps balance the load.
They are a bit heavy, but I will probably only take them out for one trip per year.
