Our Qubo is due its yearly service this month and as the mileage has clocked 60k and the car is 10yrs old (works out approx. 6k miles/yr) I am doing the service myself.

MY 09/09, 1.3 Multijet (non DPF), manual.

On Euro Carparts, after entering the model, I get 3x different oil filters, either showing a "neck" or different sizes. Which is correct?

Looking at Halfords, oil varies from £18.00 (Halfords own brand, suitable for BMW/MERC) upto £60 for the Mobil. Is Halfords own brand ok?

In the last 18 months I have replaced the following;
Front discs and pads (lasted 55k)
Rear and front shocks (lasted 55k)
Pollen filter (changed every year)
Air filter (changed every year)
Glow plugs (due to slow starting)
Heater blower resistor (failed fan speeds)
Both top strut mounts (knocking whilst driving)
Alternator belt (still getting a squeak noise)
Aircon service and re-gas (lasted 55k)

What else should I contemplate doing at 60k and 10yrs old?

Brake hoses !!!
They should be replaced every 10 years ( that's why they have a production date stamped on them...)
Go for braided ones, and forget about them for the rest of the life of your car..

Both Purlux and UFI are Fiat original.

I would go to a decent local factor with a decent guy behind the counter who actually knows what the part he has in his hand is , at least then you won’t get a Chinese part in a branded box !!!
