Was good but not great. Smells of the middle part of a trilogy to me, which I guess is none too bad a thing. Don't think it was as polished as Casino Royale, the intro and bloody awful theme track are prime examples of this. Plus I missed the wonder that is Eva Green =P~

Still though, they managed to total an Alfa 159 in the first 10 minutes

I've been very indecisive about the tune itself. Seeing it on the big screen did nothing sadly, but I did like the actual style of the intro/credits.

BTW I'm sure they totalled two alfas?

Oh yeah, one exploded rather dramatically in the tunnel :D

I hadn't heard the title song before the cinema, so it I was expecting it to be bad. I thought it was merely mediocre, especially compared to Chris Cornell's one. The titles again, I was comparing to Casino Royale, which was brilliant. I mean, the pre-title sequence in black and white blasting into about as colourful a CGI sequence as they could come up with backed by a rather decent song was going to take some beating in my opinion.

On the subject of Bond, looks like I'll have to "upgrade" my Bond set yet again when the full set comes out on Blu Ray. Got it in the tin box when it was released in special edition, then I got the "Ultimate" edition that was remastered, had Roger Moore commentaries and now there'll be an even better version coming soon. Wish they could just release a free downloadable firmware or something with the added extras included :?
