Punto X reg speaker upgrade help

Hi all,
I recently bought medion cd player for the X reg punto assuming I can get better sound but only realized I have to upgrade speakers also. Some of my friends suggested to change front speakers others said get couple of 6x9's for rear side, some also advised me to buy an amplifier to drive these speakers. I'm clueless:bang: as to what is the best option to get a decent sound.

I'm not interested in sub woofer and can't spend a fortune but need a good sound quality. Can somebody advice me what is the best solution to get speakers upgraded.

Fronts are the best way to go. Unfortunately the Punto is terrible for upgrading speakers. Your best bet is to get some component speakers with a low profile (less than 55mm depth). Then get a small amp. The tweeters can easily enough be installed in the mirror backing or A pillar.

Thanks for the reply, I bought Fli 6inch front speakers but they are 70 Watts RMS and I am looking at 2 channel JBL GTO 2000 amp with 400w max. Do you think this amp is okay for the fli speakers?

Personally I wouldn't use Fli at all. Your 400w amp I'm sure will be fine. That will probably be about 60w RMS per channel.

How does these tweeters work because I only have a 2 channel amp.

They go through a box that split the signal to the tweeters and the mid bass speakers. Its called a x-over.

Hi it might sound stupid but I just want to know, I bought Autoleads PC4 20CCA amplifier wiring kit on ebay for JBL GTO2000 400w amp. Seller said this wiring kit works for all amplifiers but when I received the wiring kit it says 250w max which is less than amp's 400w:bang:

Do you think its good idea to use this wiring or not, please advice.
