Technical Punto t.p.s. Help

Further to my posting a few days ago concerning an r.p.m. problem on my daughters punto 1.2 8v 2001, i have now discovered the throttle position sensor is faulty. I am running the car with the t.p.s. disconnected and it runs fine, however i do need to change it. The only ones i have seen on various sites are the screw on type at about £12 each, this one is pushed into the air intake housing does anybody know how to change it? Thanks in advance

I'm sorry this isnt help from me but i'm very interested as to how you get on as I belive I have the same probs with my car too.

Maybe use the search bar and see what pops up? I'm 100% sure its been covered before as I seem to remember someone saying hows its done.

most auto parts stores will have it, it's a cheap part and usually not worth buying from a site..
