Hey everyone, newbie here!

So I decided today on my hour drive back from work that the stereo in my Punto is just plain rubbish and I have decided to upgrade. I have got the component system with no speakers in the back. The best I can tell you about the car is that its Y reg and has Monza on the back.

Firstly if I purchased say:

and

Can I simply change all the parts over and use the current wiring system?

If I can't simply change over everything I might as well go the whole way and wire an amp in too, which i will ask about once I have this information.

Also I take it 50W RMS speakers with a max power of 250W can handle an amp/headunit at 75W RMS? Or is it recommended that you match RMS up on amp/headunit and speaker?

I really appreciate your help! Thanks!

Paul

Should be easy enough yeah, but you can buy adapters for the wiring, 9812RB very nice choice! :D

The wiring on my mk2 punto went fine into a JVC headunit so I think it should be cool, although not 100% sure, 3rd party adapters are cheap and easy to use though, just plug straight onto the punto loom then other end into headunit.

Amps wire into the headunit preouts so arent necesseraly to do with the puntos wiring apart from the remote lead to power the amp on with the headunit. But Ill go as indepth as I can to help you if you decide to get an amp etc cause I just fitted one recently, its easy :D

If im not mistaken the 9812RB is 60w max x4 is it not?, but actual RMS is 30w or something so those 50w speakers should be fine, although depending more on make as far as sound quality will go.
