Nice (y). the rims look slick, also like where you've put the badge, wts the bhp?

Do you know anywhere, where you can re-map a hgt?

i don't know power and torque figures yet, putting it on the dyno this weekend at the Red Dot day.

as far as i am aware no-body can genuinely map the euro2 hgt. chippeduk claim to be able to, but i have my reasons for not considering them.
i'm considering standalone management to get around the mapping problem.

oh rite, im thinking of tweeking my punto hgt, its stock at the moment, but was recommended in getting the GSR air in-take kit from here so considering that, iv got this chip or unit i should say, that you connect the wire to the ecu, and it states plus 45bhp but now i am not to sure?

what do you recommend, out of everything you've done to your hgt?

oh btw where did you get your rims from?

Where did you get that flywheel done? and which clutch are you on, im thinknig about black diamond! Any thoughts.

the flywheel was done through my mate at www.1stopperformance.co.uk. the clutch i had custom made, its a 220mm Valeo unit but everything was uprated (springs, friction materials, etc).

your 'plus 45 bhp chip', isn't an engine chip its just a resistor that will severely damage your engine. it basically puts the choke on permanently, and you wouldn't get 45 bhp from it, more like about 2 bhp, whatever you do don't fit it.

Lovely car mate... i had my 1.8 stilo remapped at chipped uk, not sure what ecu i have though! Not sure what your reasons are but im a year on now and i still get this :D everytime i plant my foot!

i believe you've got a different ecu to the Punto HGT. does your stilo have the VFD engine, ie the variable valve timing as found on the HGT and Barchetta?

Out of interest, how much did the clutch cost you? Don't worry if you don't want to say. (y)

i think i paid about £70 for the clutch. i'm lucky, the manufacturer is local, less than 1/2 mile away :)

really nice and sounds like it will shift some(y)

are the bumpers and side skirts different colours to the rest of the car??

thanks, it does seem to shift quite well ;) i'm loking forward to getting it on the dyno. and the bumpers + skirts, they've faded with age. the whole car wants a re-spray as there's some poor paint matches started showing up.

you no what i normly dont like that shape but i rely do like yours, the things uv done just look ace!

RR results as promised.

RRresultRedDotRacing-resized.jpg

145.6bhp at 6200rpm at the wheels, 119.3bhp and 112lb/ft at 3900rpm at the wheels

i can't edit the original post, how crap is that??
