I bought a T reg Punto 60 1.2 2 months ago. I'd had it for a month and the injector warning light came on then went off but still drove ok. About a week later the injector light came on nearly constantly and when I pressed the accelerator more than a quarter of the way the engine would die and lose all power.I drove it just pressing lightly it was a bit lumpy but drivable.
I called out the RAC and he said it was overfuelling I drove it to a garage recommended by him where it has sat for three weeks. They said it is showing four errors on ECU reader but they didn't know what they were. I phoned them today and they say they 'think' it is either the oxygen sensor or the ECU.
Has anyone else had similar problems or know how to repair as I can't afford another car or a big garage bill.
