Hi guys having an intermittent issue where the steering wheel warning illuminates on the dash and I lose all power steering, I turn engine off and back on and it fixes it until next time, this happens about once per month I've noticed it seems to be more likely when it's wet or cold.
It happened the other week in the freezing weather on way to hospital and restarting engine multiple times didn't fix it.
left it for 2 hours whilst at hospital appointment, came back and fault gone again and hasn't happened again since.
Does this sound like steering motor going ? Battery seems to be ok and has green dot to say it's in good working condition.
