Oh, I forgot to mention, don't let the blue wire confuse you, it was the first thing that got in my hand ... I didn't care about the color. also if possible, make sure the current drain is between 50mA and 200mA

So this basically allows you to turn the stereo on and off with the ignition, which is great, BUT are you also able to manually turn it on when the key is not in? Thanks!

It would be possible only if the head unit supports this feature, mine didn't. I was kind of bumed up by this since i have a new-ish gen pioneer, if it's not receiving 12V on the red wire it doesn't start...
