I drive a 5 door 2002 MK2 fiat punto 1.2 16v speedgear ELX. It came factory fitted with the blaupunkt navigation system, 4 speakers, AC, power windows, ABS and all that good stuff. It has only done 80k kilometers or 49k miles. The car does great, but the audio could do with some improvement.
I can not listen to a CD and use the navigation at the same time because the nav. needs the CD to be able to operate at all.
I found a second hand original subwoofer unit, but I still have some questions about it. Does it even fit the 5 door model? And, am I even able to connect it to my blaupunkt nav system?
Second, is there a way to get some sort of aux input, either in the form of a 3.5mm jack plug or USB?

Also, would upgrading the speakers for some audio systems units make any sense without getting an amplifier?
