If you want, i dont mind calling them on your behalf and asking a few questions, first of all i would ask them if they can get codes for cars outside of the UK, hence for a car in Sri Lanka...

Thats good news that Sean has replied to you, he seems like a nice fellow and knows what he's doing so hopefully he has gone above and beyond for you with his knowledge and contacts in the dealerships i dont think i will have to call him unless communications go stale - let me know

I have spoken to Fiat who have advised me to speak to ISR who hold all of fiats codes.
After speaking with them they have told me that they hold no codes for your vehicle. unfortunately he could not tell me where the vehicle was originally registered.

I’m sorry to have delayed you for so long to give you bad news.

There is no fiat dealer in Sri Lanka now. From 1905 to some year in 2000 decade there were few fiat dealers as I know. That is why I had to ask here in the forum and tried with UK. FIAT should know by VIN from which country it was first sold know.

Hi Thanks this was my former garage. Now some of the staff there has formed another garage http://nextgear.lk/ . But they cannot do that. I found one special thing that the car was imported from Italy. So if you guys can help me to find this from Fiat Italy would be the only solution.

The whole point of having these codes is to provide security for your car. I find it highly improbable that Italy are going to get involved when there must be a regional dealer with responsibility who surely Fiat will expect you to pass through at the regional level to enable you to get access to Italy

Then I got a reply form [email protected] saying my issue has been forwarded to FIAT APAC (Asia Pacific) and then few days later I was contacted by FIAT APAC via email. They said they have forwarded my request to parts department at TURIN and finally I was informed that my key code can be emailed after 5 hours when making a payment of SGD (Singapore Dollar) 251.28. This is the only option and I am going to buy soon. Hope this method will help everyone who has the same problem.
