good stuff, my elm / obd is 1.4 and i have just had a play about with the car and
MES.
and guess what - i have managed to get my remote working again

yey :slayer:
I couldnt find my spare non remote key tho, i was going to reprogramme that so it could start the car as its got a transponder in and the blade is cut the same, i figured that maybe the transponder in the key used to be once coded to the car so it will still have its ID's in the ecu so will just need to be reprogrammed - well, i found the key now lol... so will try in a bit

.
So far so good, enabled indicators on when locking and unlocking the car.
Think i may have found out how my key was forgotton
MES is showing 1 enabed key, 1 enabled remote, 1 disabled key... maybe the spare i will work on later.
but... the proxy alignment was red - one of the modules on the status screen wasnt aligned, i did the proxy alignment and once done, it was blue and all showing good - but the remote key had stopped working again, so when you do a proxy alignment of all the modules / computers, it resets all the values to factory default - even the alarm country, the indicators on function and the remotes... so i had to change all these settings again after proxy alignment and re-learn my remote.
Im thinking that maybe in the past when the remote stopped working, maybe thats when the proxy alignment went all funny and one of the modules was no longer talking to the car... just a hunch.
so yey, i have my locks working for now, i have reset service indicator, i have about 6 air bags faults to investigate (mainly open circuits) and a high voltage issue on the cigar lighter to look at... oh and lambda above cat needs attention - oh the joys.
