Punto mk1 Stereo wiring problem

Hi, iv bought a punto mk1 1994(55 SX i think), the stereo loom has been ripped out so iv bought an ISO to bear wire lead, then an iso to sony adapter, im trying to hook up the iso lead like iv read on this forum but it is just not happening.

Iv taken some pictures of my wires

There is 2 red and black wires, a really thin one and a fat one. 1 fat red

Im trying to connect them to this

In the background you can also see there is a red, a black and a yellow/black, which went to the lighter, but it had connector blacks connecting it up so i think some one has done this them selves.

could i have some help please im so lost, which wire? arrg

Im a bit confused. Red to red. Black to black and Yellow to yellow/black (fag lighter. If you dont have memory then swap the red and yellows around.

thats what i thought, anyway there is no power going to any of the wires and i cant seem to find the problem so im going to rewire it from the battery
