ok i got a punto sx 1.1 8v petrol 1995 i hav just fully rebuilot the engine due to a blown head gasket. i started it up yesterday and it firied up first time but was really noisy as the exhaust gasket had gone so i took the down pipe off put the gasket on adn tried to start it but nothing i checked the fuses ok checked the battery fully charged all you can here is a clicking noise but nothing next time it sounded like the starter motor was spinning freely not conneted to the flywheel and finally it cranked over once and gave up. plz help as its really starting to p**s m off. :bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:
