I was just wondering if a universal back box would fit my mk1 punto 55 sx. i've heard that fitting a universal one could cause it to lag :S. Also, how can i find out what sort of sound it will give my car, i dont want it sounding like a tractor!! cheers ryan...

that will sound poo, and be pain in the ass to fit, keep eye on ebay and put a wanted add up on here in classified for one made for the car
well my old 75sx is going round with one of these savage backboxes, gotta say, it sounds brilliant, and fitted easy peasy BUT it looks absolutly ****e and they reduce your performance.
id order one for the car, it will be alot better, i think you can wait another week 
, drill some holes in your air box for some noise in the mean time
btw, id either get supersprint or peco they look best once fitted and sound nice too.

that doesnt work, and i meant one fitted to a punto, cos my sportex looked good on the website, until it came and didnt fit :bang:

i got a full system if your interested , its basically new well is really as i only used the car for under a week then it was off the road for a engine change
