Hi guys, i need to get some information about tuning Fiat Punto Mk1 engine!
for months i've tried to figure something about what mods could be done but unfortunately i ran out of ideas, so i need your help guys if someone could possibly help me :)

I have an 11petrol engine on a fiat punto mk1 manufactured in 1994! .. what mods can i do to make some good boost to the engine? .. thanks for your response guys (:)!!

Do a search in this forum. Not many mods are suggested. Keeping the engine in good nick is the best mod you can do to these engines.

Thanks a lot for your advise dumbledore :)! .. i will try to find something in this forum! can you tell me if a stage 1 turbo fits the engine? or it would be much crowded for it?

Turbo conversion will give you the performance but not heard here many/any people to do it.

What does that mean? the last part of the sentence "heard here many/any people to do it"

What this means is that I am regular reader of this forum and never recalled anybody doing a turbo conversion on the 1.1 or 1.2 engines. Turbo conversions are in principle always possible.

i have seen it.. turbo-ing the FIRE is not uncommon really - just not so common here in the UK. At the end of the day the same as the turbo cinq/sei's like mine... Its the same engine.

but i wouldn't recommend you start that unless you know what you're doing and have a big wad of cash burning holes in your pocket.

What you could do is like a endless list - have a search for some project/build threads on here.

Blu73 .. that's what i did .. i tried to find something that suits me, but i didn't find any that someone built or did some mods on an engine like mine! all of them are punto gt's which it's a whole other story than the type of Punto i have!

Thanks for your response guys! i'll try to find some more info on the cinq/sei sporting tuning :)!
