Over the last few months, ive been looking around the net and magazines for kitted up punto mk1 cars. but to my suprise theres hardly any really nice ones in the uk and some of them are bodykits you can buy, and theyre not really that much customised. so i sat down one day and got a little thing called a piece of paper and pencil and started sketching a bodykit which i would have made. i then finally liked a design, so i started to do it in photoshop. now that im happy with it the kit has been made and is with me atm. i want to do something that no punto mk1 in the uk as done before. im looking at spending serious amounts of cash to get my punto looking perfect. so here it is the punto mk1 bodykit i like to call it Oxtane Kit. what do you think of it, just put in mind that im looking for a agressive style and not a sutle style. im thinking of doing the car the colour has it is in the photo. or changing the black to focus st orange, and the white to a pearl black. but do i would like to take ideas off you, maybe u have a better idea than me. it would be great if you could help me.

What You think :)

Beau has a good point there yanno.
I hate to be too critical...but those sideskirts have an extension lapping over onto the door from the front and rear of the skirt.....how exactly do you plan to open the door?
ST Orange....no, no bloody no. Only 1 car should be ST Orange....unsuprisingly it's the Focus ST. Anything esle looks wrong in ST Orange. A deep purple colour would be different though....you don't see too many punto's in purple so it'd be unique.
I'd also be tempted to lose the vents on the wings....they wouldn't serve any useful purpose and look a bit too much IMO.

lol as the st oranage paint is copied from lamborghini its hardly a focus only colour

the extensions will be fitted then cut to allow the door to open but to be honest is over the top for punto but thats just my opinion.

those skirts would look much better without the vents at the front and the wide arch extension

i like the front bumper especially if nicely smoothed like the one beau posted.

what would the rear look like?

LOL...it's not an exact copy of the lambo colour if I remember rightly...it's just really bloody close. Still don;t think it suits anything but an ST....if I had a lambo it'd hyave to be black ;)
Not sure cutting the extensions would be a good idea...they'd look like they had a massive crack down them :p

i think you'll find thats what they do to the extensions that cross the doors (there is no point fitting it if you can't get in and out the car!), they chanfer the edge to make it blend. just can't find a pic right now.

i think your point about having a lambo in black just goes to prove that its upto the owner on the colour that they think best suits their motor.

Very true.
I've never known extensions to cover the door itself. Could always do things Dukes of Hazard stylee ;) In and out thru the window works fine :p
