General Punto Mk1 (95N) 55s exhaust

I have found a hole in my exhaust end box. It's only 18months old and guess what - the gaurantee is only for 12 mths. Will this affect the performance of the car? My MOT's not till next May so I'm not fussed about getting it done straight away. The noise don't bother me much.
Does anyone know where to get one cheaper than £50? Has ne1 got one for sale? cheers for reading.

You can exhaust tape from halfords which should cover the hole. that be a cheap solution for the moment

the tape from halfords aint dear at all will easly last uptil the MOT is due. Ive not long had mine done and it cost £44 inc VAT.

breakers yard, £15 is the norm. I replaced mine with a breakers item (took 3different ones as they are all slightly different) and is going fine now!!

Except the front pipe with the flexy section is now holed!! NOOOOOOOOO


You should buy an older Audi some come with near full stainless exhausts (except manifold, and catbox) as factory (we didn't buy it from new, but someone payed a lot for the luxery of never having to worry about exhausts!!! )
