Punto (Mk2/2b) Punto jacking point

Anyone know the best jacking points? Tried the proper one yesterday and the metal started bending in towards the floor panel oops. Using a trolley jack by the way

Using a trolley jack,front sub frame.Look under car from behind front wheels,there is a black sub frame held on with two bolts each side,you can jack up on bolts. Rears,jack up the bottom of rear shock absorbers. Not the rear beam running from side to side! Hope this helps.

Bolts are about 17mm head size.

Never jack on the sill with a trolley jack

If you jacking the front up - go on the front subframe - i tend to hit the rear bolt for the front arms

If you jacking up the rear - i tend to jack up in the center of the rear beam

Never had problems using my trolley jack, if I follow the markings on the side of the sill. They're on there for a reason - they show the strongest point.

Like the others when i use Trolley jack its the subframe at the front, and on rear i usually put it under the rear spring position.never had an issue and still have plenty of places to put axle stands in

Not if the cars ageing...
Seen a few fold over the jacking points
Especially if you put it @ 90degress to car...
I try to pull it as near in line as possible - so tyres can move with going up
