punto imboliser

i am keith just joined our Mreg punto was broken into and the wires pulled out of the ignition managed to get them back but the key code light does not come on the car engine turns over but will not fire if this is because the imboliser is on and how can i override it. is there any member out there who can help me with this problem please kind regards
